Churches are fighting back and so should every Canadian.

The Church in British Columbia is fighting back.  The provincial government of British Columbia has allowed restaurants and bars to open but have forbidden churches to open.  Schools are open in BC but churches are told to close.

Now three churches are fighting back.  They have opened their doors and their congregations have attended all wearing masks and following some sort of protocol which is more than restaurants and bars are required.

This week the BC government has requested that powers be given to police officers to detain anyone going to church, and even hearing if someone is going to church.  This is a direct violation of a person's charter rights and freedoms, and against the Canadian constitution which gives every person the right to practice their beliefs and to congregate in places of worship.

Friday of this week (Feb. 12, 2021) the government is stepping up the prosses by requesting the BC Supreme Court to rule in their favour to 1. willfully arrest without cause anyone who is going to church, or considering going to church.  2. to take away a person's rights and freedoms in going to church.  3. to physically lock down a church and anyone caught inside to be arrested.

These are absolute violations of Charter Rights and Freedoms and a total disregard of a person's rights to gather in the name of their belief.  This will include all mosques, temples, any and all places of worship.  While at the same time, allowing for schools, hotels, bars, restaurants to be open.

The government of British Columbia is deliberately isolating one group of society, hoping to cause other people to "discriminate" against a specific group, and "racialize" that group from normal society.  Again this is a violation of the Canadian Constitution.

The outcome of this court challenge will be felt across the country no matter the outcome of the court's decision.  It will also open the door to the Supreme Court of Canada to decide once and for all if the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Constitution are written in stone and therefor gives these cornerstones of Canadian law total validation, or, if these documents are nothing but toilet paper to be used and disposed willingly and freely after the government has found the use no longer valid and only a document made of verbal excrement.
