The city of Hamilton has a protest group camped out on the front cement area of city hall. They intend to stay there, even though they have been ordered to move and have been told their camp will be dismantled by midnight.
This group is actually demanding for the total dismantlement of all police services. They start off with so called defunding the police, calling for a 25 and even 50 percent. In reality they want total disbandment of police services. Their protest signs actually tell people what they are actually demanding.
Their belief that if the police are disbanded completely that society will be able to govern themselves without the need for police. So with out the police, then there is no need for the court system. So what is left? This group is out to lunch and in reality believe in a Utopianism that will never appear, nor will it ever be achieved.
