It was a year ago this week that my brother passed aways from cancer. They thought they had got it all. They thought that the cancer was at least controlled. And then he recieved his second dose of a so called vaccine for covid as it activated the cancer. When he was first diagnosed with cancer, it was estimated that he would have at least five years. He was able to beat the odds and lived for twenty years and a bit more. So he had a good life despite constant treatments and he fought well. Last year they told him there was nothing more they could do for him. When he was broght back from Hamilton to Simcoe, the hospital proved hospice care in a private room, where he continued for about two weeks, and then on the Friday, my sister and I watched him pass away quietly and peacefully. So this week is rememberance. The photo says it all.
