This is a picture of the pier at Turkey Point.  I remember this pier and was disappointed when it was taken down for so called safety reasons.

It was an historical piece of history that was taken out before anybody really knew what the Ministry of Natural Resources was doing.  This picture was taken in 1967, I was 17 at the time it was the center of teen agers having fun jumping and diving off the pier into 15 and 20 feet of water.  Too bad it's not there anymore.  Too bad it wasn't repaired or replaced.  It was a memory that those born after 1969 will never know anything about.

That is my library that I have developed over the years, a library that contains books that please and that offend.  There is a vast variety of books, from classics to new age, to up to date political books, books that cover counseling and religion.  The amount of books that I have, will offend someone for sure.

That is the quality of a good library though.  To have books that challenge as well as present a calming understanding of one's own belief systems in just about any topic that is available.

I believe it is good to cover all sides of a topic so one can understand the good and bad, the pros and cons of a topic.  In looking at my library, I feel good,

The Silent Revolution Canadian Style

Since April, Canadians have been pushed into the pandemic fear created by the governments of all levels, and through the national and local medias.   Canadians were willing to listen, and to act as requested in the attempts to control the covid-19 virus from spreading.  Canadians were willing to release temporarily some of their civil liberties when country wide lockdowns became mandatory.  After six months however, Canadians are beginning to understand that the loss of civil liberties was and is not the direction this country should be moving.

At the beginning of this so called pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) an arm of the United Nations, to the world to lock down, stay home, don't go to work, and the list goes on.  Countries around the world went into panic mode, locking down entire countries, the economies, travel, businesses, and more.  Now after six months, understanding of the virus has become understood.  As a result the WHO changed their directions.

At the beginning of October the directors of the WHO changed their minds announcing that they were wrong in suggesting a total lock down of whole countries as they had previously directed.   Their reasoning was that the lockdowns only allowed for the poor to become poorer and the richer become richer.  The countries that didn't lock down (Sweden and Norway being two) has the same results as countries that went into lock down.

This time, however, countries are not listening to the WHO.  Instead they are continuing the idea that lockdowns and isolation are the only means by which to fight the virus, all the while forgetting that nothing like this was done when  SARS, covid-2, H1N1 flue, and other contagious viruses and diseases were present.  Society went on as normal.  So the question people are finally asking; "Why this time?".

People are not saying there is no covid-19.  People are demanding answers to the questions centered around the concept of "was the surrendering of civil liberties the right way to fight the virus?"  That what is being asked and no one is answering these questions.  Instead people asking these questions are being called "virus deniers, conspiracy theorists, stupid people" and the list goes on.

Now that November is being entered upon, more and more people are questioning the moves and motives being demanded by governments.  People are questioning why local health units are given the power to control the population, when constitutionally regional health units do not have that power, they can only make suggestions.

People are asking why authority is being given to scientists and medical doctors.  After all there are just as many scientists and medical doctors who don't agree with the "accepted" designs of control.  As these questions are being asked with no answers given, people have come to the conclusion that enough is enough.  As populations are being controlled through fear mongering from governments and media, many are saying "NO".

In true Canadian style, people are beginning to ignore the media and the government demands.  The constant reporting of covid-19 new cases on a daily basis is being ignored.  People are putting the numbers into calculations and realizing that the end results don't match.  People are doing all the right things to make society safe in the compliance with new restrictions, are saying enough is enough.  So now people are beginning not to listen to the demands.  People are starting to demand the return of the liberties they lost.  The silent revolt is starting.

Are we prepared for civil war?

Perhaps the wording is too strong.  Perhaps the concept is far reaching.  Perhaps there is a reality that we really don't want to consider.  These are troubling times in the United States and the sides are being drawn, where neutrality may not be an option.

We in Canada are basically being taught to hate President Trump, and we figure that what ever happens in the United States is not our business.  This attitude is dangerous for I believe that Canadians need to be aware and need to be prepared.

So far the boarder is closed due to the pandemic.  For now that is the excuse.  There is talk that the boarder will stay closed until the end of December.  But what happens if President Trump wins this election?  What will be the outcome if that should happen?

Right now the election direction has changed from policies and programs, to destroy America or save America.  The democrats have promised riots that they will be supporting.  The republicans are looking for calm while many are distancing themselves from the President.  Sides are forming and no one really knows what is going to happen for sure.

Apparently many on the police force in Seattle have resigned from the police and moved their families as far away from the city as they can.  If President Trump wins, they expect the city will be burned to the ground.

On mail man had his apartment searched and they found 17000 mail in ballots that never were mailed to voters, and they expect this to rise as one mail lady was caught throwing bags of mail in ballots into a dumpster.  The hatred is building on both sides and no one knows the out come of the election as its not over.

We know that BLM, Antifa, and other liberal leftist groups will be out in force to riot and destroy property.  People will not be safe in their homes.  Apparently the gun shops are doing a great business as guns and ammunition is being bought in record amounts.

The Canadian Immigration office has been swamped already with requests for acylium in Canada declaring that it will not be safe to live in the United States if President Trump is voted in for a second term.

What Canadians need to remember is that this is the first president in the history of the United States that has been attacked, marched against, mocked on television, democrats from the first day in office filed continually motions of impeachment, and has been demonized.  Actors have lost their acting careers for supporting President Trump or refusing to protest against him.  Anti-Trump demonstrations have been organized, financially supported by members of the democrat party and the likes of George Soros.

President Trump is the only American president that on a daily basis, democrats have been trying to overthrow.  What no one expected was the hatred that has been created and encouraged by the left from the very beginning, especially being supported by the news media which also has an agenda of destroying President Trump.

President Trump is a business man and not a politician, therefore he will be doing business differently than what was or is expected of him as a political figure.  We can only wait and see and hope that cooler minds will prevail.  The anger of the American people seems to be greater than what Canadian news medias are reporting, or failing to report.

the year of dictatorships in Canada.

As the year 2020 begins to come to an end, being there are only two months left to go, Canadians have discovered the dictatorial powers of the federal government and the provincial governments.   Canadians have discovered that they can just go with the flow, or they can stand up.  In the present situation, most Canadians have gone with the flow, while those who question the status quo are being looked down upon as they rock the political boats.

The media have been seen as the new propaganda machines of the political parties, and to challenge them is to challenge the political powers that run the show.  When the news media and the governments walk the same path, and share the same bed, you know there's going to be trouble.

Those who question and or oppose the government's direction are soon attacked by the media.  First of all it's done in a quiet way as in, there are people out there who don't believe the covid-19 virus is real.  Be careful of those people because they're not right in the head.  When it persists, the media becomes stronger in their directed comments.

What 2020 has shown to Canadians, is the powers of the different levels of government and how the news media has manipulated the people to accept without question the powers of the government.  It is no longer about the virus my friends.  It is about the political power that is wielded and controlled by the governments regardless of the political party that holds the political power of the offices of the prime minister or premiers of a province.

Each and every government in Canada has enacted emergency legislations.  From this source of legislative powers, new extensions of those powers suddenly have been added to the normal legislative narrative of everyday non-emergency powers of office.   Any opposition to these new powers is quickly and quietly dealt with through the political party and the media which supports the party in power.

Case in point:  Premier Ford recently passed legislation in the Ontario legislature that would see emergency powers embedded into the daily routine of political powers in the office of premier.  This means that the premier can declare an emergency without the consent of the Ontario legislature.  One member of the Ontario Conservative Party voted against the motion, and she was quickly denounced for her actions and questioning as she voted against the policies being passed into law.  For her bravery in questioning the government and the premier, she was kicked out of the party with in the hour.  She now sits as an independent in the legislature.  The media chose to vilify her instead of praising her for questioning in the premier.  She was branded as a rouge individual who got what she deserved.

It is interesting to note, that while provincial governments exercised their powers of emergency, and went into action as fast as possible, the federal government has yet to enact the Emergency Measures Act.  Yes that it right.  While the provinces has enacted their own powers of emergency, the federal government has yet to do so.  Instead the federal government has been busy spending more money that ever before, buying votes for the next federal election which will be in 2022.  While the provincial governments are exercising their emergency powers, the federal government is buying their powers at the expense of the other parties in parliament.  The end result is that the federal government has exercised it's own dictatorial powers despite being in a minority government.  What other party would question the welfare social policies?  The money is ear marked for the people.  If a party denounces the legislations being presented, that party is accused of not helping the people, and what party can afford to be seen as the party that hurts the people.

The media is quick to pick up on that point and any party that opposes the social policies of the liberal party in power would be vilified without mercy by the media.  In Canada it is important to understand that the media is the propaganda machine of the liberal party.

If anything then, the year 2020 has shown the powers of the different levels of government, and has also shown that it is the government who is deciding how long this emergency will last.  So far 2021 will be a carry through of these emergency powers as governments have made it clear that this "pandemic" is not over and won't be until they say it is, which is in accordance to the Constitution Act of 1983.  Who knows -- we may never see the end of political dictatorship style in Canada.

the easy cards that are played

I was reading about the BC elections and the debate.  The liberal candidate, who is a white male, was asked to answer a question on what he thought about white privilege?  It is a loaded question, and was only given to him and the only reason he was given the question was because he was white.  This means that the person who asked the question is a racist to be honest.  That question was not needed in this election debate.

Canada is in a period of time once more, where especially white males, will be expected to answer such questions in accordance with what the expected answer is to be.  There is no condition to this question.  There is no answer that any white person can give to such a question.  Even if this liberal candidate answered the question with the proper terms, the proper understanding and the willingness to negate his own colour of skin, he can never present a satisfactory answer to such a question.  It is a loaded question that has no answer that a white man can give that will satisfy anyone.

Can I answer that question satisfactorily? No, not without negating my own skin colour as a white male.   No matter what I could say, no matter how I answer and the wording I use, my answer will not be accepted, not because of the answer I give, but because the colour of my skin.  That is the problem with this question.  If you are a white male, you are a racist to begin with, therefore your answer will not be accepted.

If you have to include a colour of skin somewhere in your statement such as black lives matter, you are already a racist.  If you are a white male, you are a racist no matter what you say.  We are in a society of racism that is specifically designed to exclude specifically white males.    By doing that, these racial organizations can provide their followers with an escape goat and gives a reason for their very existence.  Without that formulated reasoning, none of these groups like black lives matter can present their program of privilege like they have done.

The Maple Leaf Forever

What are the real numbers?

I read an article today that was from the CBC I believe.  There were 90,000 covid-19 tests in a back log of tests being done.  There are not about 58,000 tests still waiting to be completed.  What the article stated was that these numbers were being added to the numbers of the other tests being completed on time, giving a false impression of the actual count.

A person who was tested three weeks ago, was being added to the daily count.  So the numbers are not true, they are at best misleading, and yet these are the numbers being looked upon in the daily count.

What I also noticed was that one news media outlet said we were just about to enter the second phase of the virus, and then another news article claimed we were already in the second phase of the virus.  So who it right and does it really matter?

There are just too many variables that are being applied and misinterpreted, and the fact that not all scientists and doctors agree on the virus status itself.  Also while universities are working on a "cure" for the virus and a vaccine, the pharmaceutical companies are looking forward to mass producing this vaccine and make billions in profits off the people who are most vulnerable and off those who have been frightened into compliance by the government.

There are more people in hospitals for diseases like cancer, accidents and other emergencies and medical treatment, and yet the governments are concentrating on the covid-19 results which have not over burdened the hospitals to date.   With over 800 hospitals in Ontario alone, only roughly 219 are in hospital, of which only 40 some odd are in ICU and only 20 of those need a respirator.  Yet the governments are reacting like everything is swamped, when in reality it is not.

Canadians are being lied to and shafted by the governments and the media is helping.  Every now and then they find someone who has recovered from the virus with a horror story to tell so that they can be justified in their reporting.

We need to look at the real figures and look at the real responses and adjudicate from that basis, than by listening to the government and their propaganda machine called the media.

The Green Party - is Canada ready for a party leaning to the far left of Canadian politics?

The Green Party of Canada is on the front cover of Canadian politics at the moment.  Can the party accomplish enough votes to make a political affect and effect in the field of Canadian politics?

The new party leader, Annamie Paul, appears to be a person who is focused on the direction the Green Party is going.  The policies of the party are nothing new as many of these policies have been put before Canadians and are no big deal any more.

What I would be more interested in seeing are the policies that the party will be creating now that they have a leader who is so focused and articulate.  Ms. Paul appears to be very much aware of the needs of Canada and we as Canadians need to be aware of the new directions that the country may have to take.

Canada is at a point where the voters will have to decide where the country needs to go.  To be sure, there will be division as Alberta and Saskatchewan will be greatly effected by the policies of the Green party which has as one of its policies to shut down the extraction of fossil fuels in those provinces.   Ms. Paul will have to find a way to bridge the political gulf that will be created.

Many of the Green party policies would see a lot of changes to the social structure of the country.  Will Canadians be willing to move in the direction the Greens want to take the country?  Will the western provinces feel isolated?  Will the eastern provinces see more involvement in Canadian politics?  The biggest question will be "Can the country pay for all of the social programs that the Green's wish to bring into existence?"  All these policies have to be paid for and with the present debt of 1 trillion dollars under the liberals, will Canadians see themselves paying more for these social services and be willing to see less and less of their pay cheques available to them.  The money has to be found somewhere and that will be the biggest challenge the Greens will have besides keeping the country together.
