2021 - A Possible Flying Leap into the Abyss

As I have been listening to all the media politics, all the so called good fortune coming in 2021, I am amazed that everyone is jumping into the 3021 pool thinking that things are going to change.  I don't believe they will.  I don't believe that Canadians will be experiencing anything that is much different from 2020.

When listening to what the politicians are saying, just because there is a vaccine that is being rolled out, doesn't mean that things will return to normal let alone return to what we think will be even the new norm.

 The politicians have been careful to say as little as possible when it comes to the vaccine.  Canadians have been told that it will take nearly a near before everyone, or nearly everyone, to be vaccinated.  During this time (2021) nothing will be changing.  Canadians will be told to wear a mask, told where they can meet, how many people will be allowed to congregate in one place, and told when and how we can live just like the politicians have done for the year of 2020.  In other words, nothing will be changed.

So it will be at least until sometime in 2022 before society may be allowed to live without restrictions.  And if you believe that, I have this piece of land to sell in the Florida Everglades.  Governments are enjoying the controls they have placed on the people.  Governments no longer consult parliament, nor do they consult cabinet.  The roll of the "accepted professional" has been replacing elected members of parliament.

The accepted professionals have already suggested that the covid-19 vaccine will have to be taken every year, just like the flue shots have been designed to be.  This covid vaccine has not been designed as a one shot remedy for the virus.  Pharmaceutical companies have designed a vaccine that will need to be taken every year, which the politicians have yet to admit.

This vaccine has been leading the politicians in the direction of a vaccine passport which will need to be presented to designated officials and the reasoning will be "for the good of the public health".  You can bet that it just won't even be covid vaccine update, but will include all vaccines including the flue shot.  Labour lawyers are already looking for the discrimination possibilities  that will occur.

So will 2021 be any better than 2020?  No I don't believe it will.  We will still be required to wear masks, limited congregational events and any belief that Canadians will be able to go back to what is considered to be something of normality, is something that no one should be holding their breath over.

Taking a flying leap into the abyss without having any idea of what is ahead, is not the way Canadians should be thinking.  Nothing will be changing in 2021 and it will be lucky if 2022 will be that much different.  

ARE WE BEING DUPED?

 Are we being duped by the governments through the media?   To be honest, the answer is yes.

Over the last few years, there has been an understanding the governments know what is best for the people.  Let's face it, Canadians have been taught over the decades that the government will take care of you from birth until death.  For the average Canadian this has not been all that bad.  The need for a "social net" has been important in the development of programs to ensure the needs of the people are being met, whether this is through universal health care, universal welfare, and other programs including "universal senior pensions, where through taxes the people of Canada have been looked after.  Yes the system has been taken advantage of as the idea of the programs was thought to be similar to putting money in the bank to be used later on.  There is nothing wrong with this understanding of socialism in Canada.  In fact to be honest in many ways, Canada is a socialist country being contained in a concept of democratic rule.

But this has changed and changed greatly as we have discovered when covid-19 entered into Canadian vocabulary.  So called "professionals" have replaced members of the cabinet in all levels of federal and provincial governments.  There is no longer a need to consult cabinet ministers when discussing the direction the province or the country should take.  Canada has become a nation of "dictators" and no one has barely batted a eye.  The so called "writing on the wall" has been ignored by nearly everyone.

When the premier of Ontario says that he and the cabinet have had discussions, the reality is that he and health professionals and scientist professionals have been discussing issues of direction and now he is relating those directions to the cabinet who are expected to support his understanding of the direction the professionals have indicated.

At the federal level, the cabinet as well as parliament have been pushed aside and the prime minister and his select office staff who have consulted the so called professionals, are making the decisions on the direction of the country.

What is important here is the choosing of professionals.  For every doctor or scientist or health professionals, the leader of the party in power is choosing whom they will listen to.  The professionals who support the direction of the party leader will be listened too because it is in the best interest of the party leader to maintain control.  It has been interesting to note that professionals who do not support the government's direction are pushed to the side, are made to look like agitators, or professionals that should not be trusted.  Again covid-19 has born this out.

Once the government has decided who is creditable and who isn't, then the media are instructed to reveal what the governments wishes.  There is no real freedom of the press in Canada to be honest, and main stream media have become dependent on government hand outs.  News is no longer reported but is rather created so that it lines up with government policies.  To be sure, as much as we may like or not like Donald Trump, the media have gone out of their way in Canada even, to teach people to hate Donald Trump.  When one views all the evidence that has come to light even after events, the democrat party has been at the bottom of the protests, supporting anti-Trump campaigns, and a continual working behind the scenes to bring down the government of Donald Trump.

The public will do as they are being directed by the media which has become the propaganda agencies for liberal/socialist parties with an agenda to control the population into the "right kind of thinking" whereby leaders like Trudeau and even Doug Ford have established themselves as dictators while pushing aside parliaments and cabinet ministers.

It does not really matter what party is in power anymore.  It can be liberal, conservative, green, or ndp.  The leader calls the shots, the media are expected to be the propaganda machines as the party leaders make all the choices and policies.  Canadians no longer elect a person to represent them in parliament.  Canadians elect a person who represents the party leader to them, giving the leader absolute control and Canadians do as they are told.

Vaccine Passport is equal to a cloth patch.

 For the good of the people's health has been the wording used by many to want a vaccination passport.  The government of Ontario is looking into the concept of vaccination passports being issued, and they have used the phrase "for the greater good of the health of the people".  As far as I concerned there is no difference between the vaccination passport and the so called cloth patch.

People need to start understanding and realizing what is going on.  There is no evidence that covid spread through shopping or eating at a bar or restaurant.  Nor is there evidence of covid being spread in churches, synagogues, or mosques.  Without the evidence the government of Ontario still moved forward with a lockdown of the province of all non-essential jobs and businesses, restricted indoor gatherings to only 10 people and have restricted peoples freedoms of mobility.

Both the media and the governments have created fear in the public's mind and to ensure that fear is present, snitch lines have been created so that people can report violations.  The more this government and the people allowing this carry on, the more the mirrored imagery is becoming clearer and clearer.  Fascism is alive and well and democracy, civil liberties, rights and freedoms have been pushed aside all in support of the catch phrase "this is for the good of the people's health".  If the government can push aside the constitution this easily, what will happen when this so called pandemic is over.

Do not expect this pandemic to be over in 2021.  Nor should it be expected that 2022 will be any different.  Governments will continue to use the pandemic as a means to obtain their controls over the population.  The snitch lines will still be open.  Laws will be created as they are now demanding everyone comply to the oppressive draconian fascist regulations, and a vaccination passport will be playing a big issue in that expression of controls.

If vaccination passport is created and expected to be carried by everyone, it will be used to obtain employment, entering businesses to shop, get hair cuts, and even requested upon demand by law enforcement officers.  What difference is there then between Nazi Germany or Communist Russia.

The public needs to be vigilant when it comes to the restrictions made upon them.  The loss of civil liberties of any kind done in the name of "the greater good of people's health" needs to be challenged just like black lives matter challenges the governments. 

New Catch Words.

 I have noticed that reports in the papers, tv. news casts, and radio news casts are starting to use the words "related to" when announcing the deaths of individuals.  The catch words are important.  It means that covid-19 was part of the equation causing the persons death.

By using these two words, death certificates can be signed off as the cause of death as being covid-19 and ignore the facts that the person had chronic health concerns as well.  It also allows the governments to justify the actions that they are taking, as they exercise their dictatorial and munch unconstitutional powers.

We need to remember that even if 2000 people have contracted the virus, does not mean that all 2000 are in hospitals, which appears to be what the media is seemingly alluding to.  Of that 2000 people, perhaps only 10 would be in hospitals and even then that would be more than what is considered reality.

Yes people get covid, but it is not the death certificate that the media and governments appear to be suggesting.  There are over 884 hospitals in Ontario, and only a few of these are in over stretched and over run with covid patients.  Again, people need to read between the lines, understand the catch words being used and understand the reality of what is being done in the name of covid.

Question everything, trust no one especially governments and health unit dictators.

The Politics of Madness.

 The orders have been given and the covid police are out in full patrol.  Mayor Tory of Toronto wants more.  He wants police at boarder roads to stop people from leaving or coming into Toronto.  He has told Torontonians that snitch lines are available to report their neighbours and the list goes on of fascist powers that he wants and oppression forced on the population,

Premier Ford is doing his best to walk on the fence, but he's fallen off.  I don't trust anyone and politicians are the highest upon the list of those not to trust.  As a result, the news media outlets are doing their best to propagate the propaganda needed to keep people in a state of fear.

Despite everything, the people who are being charged with offenses against the so called emergency act, have filed their charges to the halls of the courts.  The courts have become clogged with people fighting their charges.  Many of the cases have been thrown out of court for one reason or another.  Some are demanding that those who have phoned in complaining, face the person they can ratted on.  This is the still the constitutional rights for people to demand their accusers face them in court, and so it should be.

Cases are heading to the Supreme Court of Canada which likely won't be hearing the cases for at least a year.  The choice the Supreme Court of Canada has to deal with in reality is whether or not the Constitutions of Canada, along with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms are written in stone and not just a some piece of paper that can be pushed aside or worse ripped up at the whim of governments in Canada.

Right now there is a demand to being these laws under the scrutiny the constitution and charter requirements.  This demand is being made by the common people who know for a fact that not everyone is in this pandemic together.  The cry of "we are in this together" is pure bull shit.  There is no way politicians are in this pandemic with the common people.  There is no way the rich are in this pandemic with the common people.  It is the common people that are loosing their livelihoods, it is the common people that are loosing their jobs and businesses.  It is the common people who are being forced to decide food or rent.  It is the common people who are being forced to make the hard and difficult choices.  The average person is being fed pure and simple bull shit and they know it.

As the common person is being told what they can and can not do, where they can and can not go, who they can be with and who they can't be with, the influentially rich and powerful have nothing to fear and do as they desire.  They sit and wonder why the common person is having so much trouble in living life.

 the police forces are ready in Ontario to control the population in yet another lockdown demanded by the government of Ontario.

the mayor of Toronto is calling for people to report their neighbours whom they feel are violating the restrictions being made on the population with only one desire in mind, which is government control of the population.

people are rolling over and taking this blatant violation of the Canadian Constitution.  It has become obvious that in the name of a pandemic that has been exaggerated the constitution which is designed to protect the rights and liberties of Canadians is being pushed aside with such ease that it is no longer worth the paper it is written on.

The government of Ontario has moved into fascism front and center complete with snitch lines and encouragement to report anyone.  The mayor of Toronto as well as the Ontario government are encouraging and the media is supporting these fascist designs.

Despite that the courts are being clogged with people fighting the charges that have been laid against them on constitutional grounds, these political lap dogs continue to push on with shoving the constitution aside.

The propaganda is doing its job.  With a 85% to 90% recovery rate of those who actually have the virus is being downplayed, the facts are not being said.  On Saturday they claimed there was over 60,000 covid tests done with only 6,000 testing positive of which less than 200 hospitalized.  As well when reporting a death, the media has been quick to say "covid related" which is nothing more than code for the reality that many of these people died from other means and not necessarily just covid-19 alone.  It's like the hospital is testing for covid after the patient has died so the numbers can be padded and the public panics and remains in fear.

Now people who don't know they have the virus are being vilified even in government adds for spreading a virus they don't even know they have.  In other words the government is now saying that even if you don't have symptoms, get tested so they can support their numbers.   Originally those who didn't have symptoms were told not to get tested.

There are also questions being expressed that covid testing is only 60% accurate and that nearly 10 to 15% of the testing is found to be false positives.  The result is that not even the testing can be considered correct.  

There is a great need to combat the virus with the reality that should have been applied from the beginning.  The flue shots are still showing that people can still catch the flue but we have lived with it.  The reality is that pharmaceutical companies are making billions with this covid vaccine that does not give a guarantee that the person will not contract the virus.  The chances are the same as the flue shots of which we know that 64,000 people die annually with or without the flue vaccine.

Yes there is a virus, but the way it has been combatted is not the right way.  There has to be a better way instead of escribing fear and paranoia in the population.

The World and the Universe Travels Faster and Faster.

 The world and the universe travels faster and faster and yet we haven't a clue as to why.  There are concepts and understandings but still the reason why the world and the universe travels at all, is a basic mystery in our search for where we fit in all of this.

In our search for why the world and universe travel faster and faster is equal if not part of the desire to know God.  In our search for God (or gods) we come to the understanding that we can not touch God, nor can we see God, but we continue to search and seek out God.  Why?  Perhaps it is because we have misunderstood very concept of Who God is.  In my own attempt to discover God, I have come to the realization that God is not only Spirit, but God is also wisdom, knowledge, understanding, education, and an experience.  The emphasis should be made on the experience that we have with and of God regardless if we like what we see or not or believe.

God is the beginning.  We read in Genesis where God walked with Adam and Eve in the garden during the cool of the day.  Does that mean God is physical or spirit?  Was Adam and Eve physical or were they too spirit? Many interpret that Adam and Eve were physical and therefore God is physical.  But why can't they be both physical and spirit?  To be honest, it depends on how you believe or look at the "Beginning".

Christians over the centuries, have sought out to separate the spirit from the physical.  For what ever reason, I do not know.  I feel that since God is physical and spirit, so too we are both spirit and physical.  This gives credit to the understanding that being both spirit and physical, we can experience God and creation, and attempt to understand even closer why the world and universe travels faster and faster.  In the Beginning also means that general intelligence is the fundamental base or experience that we can not do without. 

It is the responsibility of the individual to learn, as emphasis has always been placed on education which gives us the knowledge and understanding to seek that which is beyond the box as in knowing not only God by experiencing God, and knowing that the world and universe are and is moving faster and faster does not inhibit in any way our responsibility to learn beyond the box and pushing the envelope to understand what some may say in not understandable.

Yes the world and the universe travels faster and faster and we may not know why, but that does not advocate a cessation of wisdom to understand of the unknown.  Rather it gives rise the quest of the "human spirit" to discover the unreachable and seemingly unseen and untouchable of the physical and the spirit as one together as creation was meant to be in the beginning.

In the Beginning

 For decades, for centuries, we have been taught in Sunday School, Church, Religious Colleges and Universities, that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh.  I would like to suggest that God may have created the world in six days, but didn't complete his work.  Yes, that's right, that He did not complete creation.

The reason why I am saying this, is that even though God created the world in six days, He also didn't finish His creation because He wanted to be in partnership with us to continue His creation.   We have the responsibility then to complete the creation that He started, and work in partnership with God.  That is one reason why we have been commanded to be "stewards" of creation.

Working in partnership in a continued creative activity by being "stewards", we have been commanded to learn, to study, and to develop our thoughts.  Basically right from the beginning, education is to be kept.  Emphasis was placed on learning, knowledge, thinking, expanding that knowledge, to think and look outside the box, to push the envelope.

Learning is a part of humanity, the human spirit to expand our understandings.  To learn we must ask questions, and in giving answers we should be asking another question.  It is more important that one asks questions, than it is to give an answer.  It is also important that to embrace what has been discovered as new, and learn from the past to explore the new and accept the new with enthusiasm. 

There isn't one religion in the world, that has a monopoly on wisdom nor the education found in that wisdom, which includes thinking outside the box of one's religion.  Wisdom is there to take and to use, to learn from it, and to move freely into the future where ever that wisdom takes a person.

Creation is not bound up in what is seen creation to be.  Creation is not just the development of the species, the observation of the growth of plants.  Creation is the totality of knowledge, community, to live in a "right" meaning of knowledge, education, wrapped up together with in the partnership with God.  Creation has become more than six days.  Creation in reality is not just six days of a conceptual understanding.  In the partnership that is experienced with God, means that education is not stagnant, nor is wisdom confined or limited.  As a result, God changes with His creation that is on going.

Education therefore is to be experienced, which includes wisdom being experienced as well.  That is the human spirit which was and is intended to be free from the confinements of rules and regulations found in religion and strict adherence that have often been found in religions.  There are times where we as believers need to be willing to think outside the box.  We need to be ready to search beyond the confines that have been imposed and suppressed free thinking.

From the beginning, education was intended to be kept and never suppressed.  Education was to produce wisdom, learning, and understanding.  All of which is the action of the Human Spirit which was and is designed to be free.  Free to think, free to move beyond the box, to push the envelope with the freedom to go beyond.

Climate Change is an opportunity to make a tax grab by the liberal government

 We have been constantly told the sky is falling.  I am still waiting for this event to happen and I live on the lake.  I have seen the water rise, and I have been flooded,  but the reality is that the flow of water in the great lakes have been controlled in the past and can be controlled in the present time.

There have been agreements made by the United States and Canada decades ago which enabled both counties the ability to control the lake heights.  There was a time when boats in the marinas of Long Point, Turkey Point where boats could not leave their moorings as the water level was too low.  Even the channel at Port Dover was dredged out so that boats could leave the harbour.

The water levels go up and down all the time.  It is the power of the lakes which have been in control of the flooding, damage to break walls and the list goes on and on.  In reality it is not climate change that is causing this.  There are more problems or reasons why things are the way they are.

Now the demands by the liberal government will do nothing but bankrupt the individual Canadian who won't be able to move about freely as price of gas will be too high.  Homes will not be heated because of the high prices on natural gas and propane.  Oil consumption will be so expensive that manufacturing companies, including companies that will be manufacturing the religiously worshipped electric cars will not be able to produce these vehicles simply because it will cost too much to manufacture and no one will be able to afford these cars in the first place.

The money raised in these fuel taxes will not be going to any place but general revenue of the government in their scheme of things to raise more taxes for their wasteful spending.  What ever Canada does, it will not matter because Canada will not save the world from climate change, and Trudeau who has a messiah complex believes himself to be god of climate change.  In reality Trudeau is a joke, an international joke and a total embarrassment to Canada and the Canadian population.

His desire to charge much per tonne of carbon boarders on the definition of treason as his plan will bankrupt and destroy the country. 

Something to think about

 As the world is given a glimmer of hope, and governments maneuver themselves into sainthood and god like hero worship, I can't help but think all is not as well as we are being led to believe.

I have been watching news reporters nearly declaring victory over covid-19 while doctors and other scientists that governments have given a special status upon the pedestals of political spin doctors, have been cautious.   No one has come out and said that the now available vaccines are a cure for the virus.  Just the same, somehow we have moved from point A; that vaccine stops the virus, to B that the vaccine is the cure or silver bullet everyone is searching for.

At this point in time, not one scientist nor doctor has suggested that once you get the vaccine you have nothing to worry about.  In fact there seems to be a hidden comment that those who receive the vaccine are not out of the woods; meaning that the vaccine works on those who may have it, but doesn't really prevent one from getting the virus later on.  To date, I haven't heard any doctor or scientist say that all will be well for those who are injected with the vaccine.

Without really saying anything to the different, the governments are encouraging everyone to be vaccinated, but have said little to nothing that would guarantee a "cure" for the covid-19 virus.  What appears to be presented, is that like the flue shots one will have be receive the vaccine yearly and hope for the best, just like we are told about the flue shots.  In other words, this is not a guarantee that a person who is vaccinated will not get the virus.  Like the flue shot, people may have to vaccinated every year.  This could be the very reason why some governments are suggesting a vaccine passport be issued to people who receive the vaccination.  

This passport will not only show the covid vaccine, but also flue shots, and all other vaccinations.  It will be something that everyone will be required to carry with them like their personal identification for driving, health card, and so on.  It is even being suggested that this passport will need to be shown in order to go to theaters, shopping, hockey games, air travel, and the list goes on and on.

The vaccine is quickly becoming a tool by which the governments are able to control the population.  Most likely those who do not have this passport will be required to continually wear a mask and/or some other way that the rest of the public will be able to identify those who are not vaccinated for anything.

The covid vaccine is not a guaranteed cure just like the flue vaccines are not a guarantee that one is free from catching the flue.  This needs to be understood, and the suggestion that everyone carry a vaccine passport is nothing more than a way to control the population and possibly end the constant request to near demand that everyone do as they are told and be vaccinated for flue shots, measles, and all other vaccinations that have been "required voluntarily" by the medical industry.  

I FIND IT IRONIC GIVEN THE SITUATION AND ALL

 

There has been a frustration of late, where people are trying to understand what is really going on.  The people are either scared of possible situations that may or may not happen, or they have had enough and are demanding logical explanations to the oppressions being placed upon the population being disguised as "rules for your own safety," instead of actually saying that the controls are intentional so that the population is controlled.

Churches are finding themselves in the cross hairs of the politically correct leftist media.  Think about it.  The Muslims decided that in order to keep continuity among it's believers, they will use loud speakers in neighbourhoods for the call to prayers.  Those who complained were quickly hushed as being racists and bigots.  Churches on the other hand, complied with provincial regulations successfully and have opened their doors for service.  Now comes the churches who feel their community is being trampled on.  Some have reverted to parking lot services where people stay in their cars and listen to the sermon on an fm station or by opening their windows.   The reaction from officials in some cases was swift and pointed.  The answer was no and people were forced to leave the service, prevented from having the service, and fines were levied against the minister.

In Langley B.C. a church has decided to have regular church services in defiance of the government rules.  This church has been fined and the church still continues, this being the third week of such openings.   Flip over to Ontario again and you have the BBQ restaurant owner who's places of business saw the city of Toronto change the locks on the doors, charged the owner for trespassing, and have fined him heavily so that he is run out of business due to fines.  The city has forced the owner into closure.

This is what the government is considering for churches that flaunt public health rules.  Even though this is not been stated as of yet, if the city of Toronto gets away with changing the locks on businesses what would stop them from changing the locks on churches?  In reality there is nothing.

|What I have been finding so interesting, is that the heads of local health units, who are not elected officials but appointed officials, have moved many of the regions into the control section of the colour coded system just in time to keep people from gathering together for Christmas celebrations.

Despite all the restrictions, the numbers are still getting higher.  Health unit dictators are searching for reasons for the increase.  As they blame family get togethers and church services, they fail to understand that the more people you test the higher the numbers are going to be.  It is especially logical when research has found that the nose swabbing has a high rate of showing false positives.  It is also interesting that people are being tested every week, in some cases every two or three days for the more paranoid.

But the reality is, most regions in Ontario have been placed in either the red or the yellow colours to control the population just in time for Christmas and New Years.  Is this a coincidence?  No I really don't think so.

Haldimand Norfolk Covid-19

 It was like opening a door to a secret garden of reporting.  It was better than watching the CBC.  It was better than CTV reporting.  The report begins with "Seven new covid-19 cases reported.  But it went on to set things in perspective.  The reporter announced that the seven new cases, made a total of 654 cases since they started counting in March of 2020.  

From that point the report stated that there were 573 who have recovered and a total of 44 people in isolation.  A total of 6,174 have tested negative and only a total of 32 people since the spring (March) have passed away due to the virus.  The total population of Haldimand and Norfolk is about 109,787 people with about 64,000 people in Norfolk and 45,608 in Haldimand.  See what everyone has been thinking.  It's the numbers, they don't support the draconian regulations that have been justified to take away everyone's civil liberties.

The report informs the reader while at the same time not scaring the crap out of everyone.

This puts the numbers into the reality.  The report expresses the positive rather than report the fear mongering found with other news outlets.

 There are times when we all look out the windows of life and wonder what are we doing.  We often use this time to search out what we think we have achieved and what we would have loved to achieve.  We seem to search for something that perhaps we really don't know we have already done.  The pages of our books of life often stick together and we miss out on what we have done in our thoughts of remembering.

There are times that my Aunt tells me I have done more than I have realized.  I have had more adventures than I believe I have had.  We often need others to remind us that we have accomplished more than we ourselves realize.

It has been said, and well said too, that we are often our worst critics and need to step aside and look back at the adventures we have taken.  Yes there are some that we would rather not think about, but these adventures have helped to structure us as we travel.

There are two roads that we often travel on.  The first road is the most common.  That is our physical road of travel with all it's ups and downs of life.  The other road is often less traveled upon and that's our spiritual road.  More often, these two roads never meet let alone run parallel to each other.  For some, we have trouble having both path ways run on top of each other as we try to walk on both at the same time. 

Some times life is like a card game.  We are given a set of cards and it all depends on how we play these cards that enable us to journey along these path ways of life.  It is important that we remember as much as possible, for there are times that we have been more of a success than what we realize.

As we sit in the windows looking out, we have done more than we realize, and have influenced more than we have ever thought we did.  What we have done and experienced in the past and along our roads of life and spirit, has helped to develop who we are.  How we deal out our cards often determines more than just winning the game. 

Is There A Need For Some Socialism?

 Postings like this have come up every so often, but lately they have come to the surface more and more.  I would like to suggest that there may be a need for socialism of the kind that we in Canada have become used to.

The socialism that I refer to is universal health care for one, unemployment insurance is another, universal welfare, and the so called baby bonus cheques that many families depended upon until the child is 18 years of age.  Theses are socialist programs that we in Canada have come to take for granted.  

All these programs are paid for by the taxes that have been generated over the years which have done good for the population in general.  There are still cases of homelessness that persists and I don't believe these situations will ever leave society.  In order to solve the problems of housing, homelessness, and other problems, Canada needs to carefully look at the solutions.

Canada is being pushed by many citizens to take the next few steps into a bigger socialist programming.  A programming that would mean the loss of some civil liberties like the ability to choose to accept the programmed hand outs and solutions.

While Marxist/Leninist groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa are demanding for the defunding of police budgets, and marching towards total abolition of police in all of Canada, the end result would not provide the socialist outcome that these people are suggesting.  As long as there are civil liberties which all Canadians enjoy, further socialist programing can not be achieved.

The slogan of "defund, disarm, disband, and abolish" is a dream and nothing more that these Marxist groups are seeking.  To eventually abolish the police services, you need to provide another system of keeping society safe, and replacing the police services with military services is not the answer nor is it the designed purpose of the military.   Besides, these Marxist groups have no real logistical answer to how to keep society safe.  They only have imaginary concepts and nothing more.

So while there is a need for some universal socialist programing, Canadians can not loose sight of the reality that we are also responsible to assist others who are in need of help.  Socialism can not solve all the problems of homelessness and other problems.  We can not expect the government to wipe our asses from birth until death, even though many believe the government should be doing just that.   So yes there is a need for some socialistic programing that all of us can share in.  These programs are health and safety, but should also include a universal drug program.  With everyone paying into these programs through taxes lightens the load for everyone, Canadians can not loose sight of the brake peddle that may have to be pressed when the country moves closer and closer to precipice of communism or fascism, which are liberal programs that lead to the control of the population for no other reason than to control the population.
