I have not written for quite a while.  Over the last few weeks I have become busier than expected.  Today however a few things have given me not only time, but have given me pause to rethink a few things.

The Toronto Star reported today on a young adult who was found guilty of terrorist act.  The man served his time and then went to Syria to fight with the al-Queda based rebels.  He has since died fighting.  The Toronto Star did not allow for comments by the public to be made on the report given.  When I read the article, it praised the young terrorist, almost making him a hero.  That is when I decided to draw the line.

The western world is being manipulated through such things as human rights and political correctness when it comes to Islam.  The religion of peace has been and still is one of the most violent religions in the world as based on their founder.

From history we know that the founder of Islam was a slave owner, a bigamist, a pedofiler, and a warrior.  All of this leads into the hands of extremists who have defiled the religion of peace, including many of the mulahs and clerics who have supported terrorist type actions.

Western society has been forced to bend over backwards to accept Islamic religious practices, and Sharia law in place of western customs and laws, something that westernors could never do in any Islamic nation.

The liberal media in many countries including Canada and the United States refuse to print stories of attrocities committed by Islamic nations from imprisoning Christians and non-Islamic peoples to all out execution of non-Islamic people for refusing to convert to Islam.

The "blind eye" attitude of western leftist media has created a false sence of security in many western nations.  For example whole sections of England are under Sharia law instead of English or British Law just because the majority of people in that area are Muslem.  This is wrong - absolutely wrong.

Would western laws and rights be honoured in the United Arab Emmerits?  Never!  So why are western nations being forced - even by their own human rights tribunals - to accept Sharia law and Islamic customs? 

We all know that the goal of the Muslem Brotherhood is to spread Islam and Sharia law through out the world - to make the world Muslem.  This is being done through subtle means such as human rights violations in countries, the demand to practice their religion freely while at the same time denouncing other religions and even calling for violent actions against non-muslem people.

The western nations are being dupped and many Christian people are being just as dupped and leftist media and liberal thinking people.

Now the kicker - in practicing my religion - I see the writing on the wall.  The book of Revelation with all its symbolism and mystery in reality exposes the mark of the beast as being a person who is Muslim.  Even the "prophet" Nastrodamus in his writings says the same thing.

It is no longer of battle of Christian verses Muslim.  It is no longer a war agaisnt ideologies.  It is in fact a serious conflict between cultures and Islam.  There are many more things I could say that come from my readings of books, research papers, and Scriptures - instead I encourage you the reader to search out books, research papers, and Scriptures and see what conclusions you come to.

Stupidity on the Roads of Ontario

Ontario passed a law making it illegal to use a cell phone while driving.  The law includes texting and talking.  Hands free devices are alright, but questionable at times, but at least its encouraged to not talk and drive.

I travel the highways of the province, the streets of town, cities, and villages and every day I see idiots talking on their cell phones and some texting.  Are phone calls and texting that important?  Let's be real about this.

First day of school and a girl is killed by a truck in Toronto.  The trucker saw the girl and assumed she would stop at the corner.  The girl was texting and not paying attention to what was going on about her.  She didn't stop at the corner and walked into the path of the truck.

Reality check here people!  The trucker should have been more observant and understanding that people with their heads down aren't paying attention.  He should have stopped.  The girl didn't need to be engulfted in her cell phone and needed to be observant to her surroundings.  Both are guilty.

The stupidity of people gets them into trouble.  Cell phone use seems to be getting one of the major causes of accidents next to drinking and driving, which is still all too common on the highways.

People have said that others should mind their own business.  But that's no excuse for stupidity.  No one needs to be talking on their cell phones while driving or walking.  No one needs to be drinking and driving or drinking and walking either.  Alcohol and cell phones are becoming the tools of death for many stupid people.

Yes - if you text and drive, use your cell phone and drive, drink and drive you are stupid people.  End of story, period.

Everyone - Stay out of Syria

This is a civil war, a war between muslim sects, between Al-Queda, and islamic extremists as well as rebels.  Many western nations have already sent billions of dollars in aid to the rebels and for what.   Of all the civil wars that have happened in the world, to pick this civil war to get involved in is not just wrong but crazy.

Has the United States not learned from Afghanistan and Iraq that once the rebels (muslim extremists) win, they bite the hand that fed them.  Western nations can not win against any muslim sect or nation.  Muslims will turn on you once they are in position of power.  So western nations need to stay out on that concept alone.

Another reason western nations need to stay out is that Russia, China, and Iran are allies of Syeria.  Russia has had a military base in Syeria for decades now.  Iran also has access to that base.  China has pumped billions upon billions into Syeria and therefore are not willing to see their investments dissappear.  To attack Syeria also means an attack on Russia, China and Iran.

Another reason not to go in is because Russia, China, Iran, and other arab nations are allies with Syeria and this will encourage an escalation that no one can afford.  Iran and other arab nations will fire rockets and missles into Israel which in turn will call in western allied nations.  The end result is world war III and no one wants it.

There will be no winners in this conflict - non.  There are enough nuclear weapons available to destroy the planet.  To go to war over a civil war is stupid and crazy.  We need to press all of our governments to back off and stay out.

Obama will not come out of this smelling like a rose either.  It is known that Obama supports the Muslim Brotherhood who seek only world domination of Islam and Sharia law.  This will destroy any country and set up a world state of oppressive dictatorships that will stop at nothing to execute all non-muslims.  Not even neutral atheists are safe let alone the politically correct liberals who believe they can offend no one.

Gay Rights

Lately there has been a deluge of reports and experiences expressed from media outlets all around the world questioning Russia's anti-gay propaganda act.  The initial legislation itself states that same sex couples can live together and associate with others etc.  What the Russians are not saying is that unlike hederalsexuals any display of same sex thinking, flags, holding hands in public, kissing in public, gay clubs and bars is no longer allowed in Russian society.  There are no same sex marriages, same sex couples can not adopt children, and they are even banned from many public places including the Orthodox Church (from what I understand).

Being that Russia is still very conservative, it was easy to pass such legislation and easier yet to allow the citizens of the country express their own kind of "treatment" to anyone who they believe may be gay.  The state one one hand claims that members of the gay community have basic human rights like everyone else, but anything above that seen in public is not allowed.

In essence the gay community of Russia has become the new Jews of Russia under the communist rule and similar to the Nazi Germany.  They are there, but they're not allowed to be seen, nor heard, nor observed.

With the Winter Olympics coming in February 2014, countries have already begun examing the law and advising their athletes and possible Olympic fans on the consequences of any kind of protest including sewing a rainbow flag on their team uniform, which would indicate a silent protest even if words were not expressed.  Just wearing a rainbow flag is cause for imprisonment, fine and deportation regardless of you are a fan or an athlete.

If the World Track and Feild games in Moscow were any indication of what may happen, the stadiums and venues used were not even half full.  People who would have normally come from other countries, many of them stayed home.   The question is how will this play out in the Winter Olympics where already civil rights have been banned, protests have been banned, no one is to complain about loosing land or having to move to make room for the games.  There have been tight controls of the area similar if the KGB was back in existance.

There are many in the West though who have agreed with the Russian law.  They, like many others believe that what is done in the privacy of ones own home is to be left there - at home.  They don't agree with public expression or display of same sex expressions of love that you would normally see from heterosexual couples.

The Gay Pride movement I believe may have been the reason for many people to become repulsive about the expression of same sex love in public.  But is it that?  No - I believe that its the circus like demonstration of Gay Pride in their parades.  It appears that these parades have given to the exercise of near nude to nude flaunting of individuals, allowed normally obsene displays of individuals, any excuse to "shoke" the public.  In other words, the gay pride parades have basically destroyed the reason for celebrating gay rights and have exchanged their freedom for perversion displays of sexual exploitation that normally would be confined to prone movies, one's own home, and in specific bars and clubs.

I know that there are some who are getting pissed at me right now.  I am not saying gays should be back in the closet.  That's not what I am intending to say at all.  I beleive that all gay people should have the same rights and freedoms that everyone else has including public expression of one's love for the other person.  This include same sex marriages, holding hands in public, kissing in public, and adopting children who otherwise would be orphanded.

The balance is there.  The balance in humand rights, gay rights, is there.  Heteralsexual couples to make out in cars, well so should gay couples as well.  What ever is right for one is right for the other.  What ever is wrong to the heterosexuals to display in public is wrong for the gay couple to display in public.  In other words use common sence.

Russia's law is not balanced.  Islamic laws and some African country laws are definately not balanced.  No one should be beaten, jailed, executed, tortured, forced to marry opposite sex partners, etc.  That is not a balance.

I'm Not in the Rat Race

  

We often find ourselves wishing for the simpler things in life, when times were easier and more relaxing.

We also long for the days when relaxation was a needed and expected adventure, compared to now where the rat race of want has over powered the reality of need.

As a society we have been conditioned and lied to about commericalism, manufacturism, and greed is good. The concept of the more toys you have when you die seems to express the concept that you've won - but won what?

I have learned to live in an income of under 15,000 dollars a year and even less.  I have what I need instead of what I want.  I have reduced the amount of bills that I used to have and have contented myself with the idea that wants can be a treat if you actually need it.

I have no cable or satellite bills to pay because I don't watch television programs.  I am not therefore bombarded with commercials encourageing me to buy this or that.  I choose what I want to buy when I'm at the stores based on my needs.  I have all the food I want, all the clothes I need, and enjoy life in a more simple and slower adventure.

But I am not satisfied yet.  I want to travel and therefore need to budget for that which has become easier now.  I have been able to cut my present bills and rent in half with a room mate which has enabled me to do more which I can add into that being travel.

I am not a part of the rat race.  I am not a slave to commericalism or consumerism.  Once I got out of that rat race my stress level went down.  I am totally relaxed and when I go into stores with sales clerks I can actually walk away without purchasing a thing.  For example I am in need of a new vehicle.  The salesman wanted me to put down $1,000.00 to hold the vehilce of choice.  I simply said no - I'll be back in two months and if that vehicle is still there, I will have to total sum to purchase it - completely by cash in one payment.  The fact that the salesman knows I'm coming back in two months time, and he knows what I am looking at, he also knows that if he wants the sale he will have a vehicle there of the same kind if the present one is sold.  He also knows that I am not in a rush to buy, that I have a certain amount to spend and I can look at other dealerships if I so choose.  The result - the pressure is on him to sell and not me to buy.

The same I have done with clothes, shoes, and other items.  I have no credit cards therefore no payments and because I can see where my money is going and when I spend it, I have full control of my debt load which is zero.  I own nothing and I borrow nothing.  I pay by cash and if I don't have the money at the time I can wait.  No hurry, no pressures.

So I can relax when ever I want to where ever I to and enjoy what I want when I want where I want.  Now that is living life's adventure without the hassels of the rat race.

Being white is not a crime

Are Americans and Canadians that controled that when an Hispanic shoots a coloured person in Florida all hell breaks loose in the media in both countries.  But when a white Australian runner is gunned down by three bored black youths and a World War II white veteran is beaten to death by two black thugs, nothing is said by the liberal media except to report the incidences as a passing bit of news.

I am so pissed that the liberal media has that amount of control over the population that should be just as equally infuriated about all sencless murders.  It is inexcusable for the media to be so politically correct in their reporting that it fails to react with equal condemnation.

Martin Luther King Jr. was right when he said "We have learned to fly the skys like birds. We have learned to swim the oceans like fish.  But we have not learned to walk this eath as brothers and sisters."

Policial correctness has done nothing but castrate society from speaking openly with equality in all situations and has made being white a crime of excuses for every problem that arises in society. 

Martin Luther King Jr. said a lot of great things, but never once did he step aside from the teachings of Jesus that all men and women of all races and all sexual orientations and all nationalities are equal before God.  But of course political correctness has destroyed the teachings of Jesus hasn't it.

Aylan Lake

I took this picture when I was at a friends cottage on Aylan Lake just south of Barrie's Bay in Ontario.  There are many times I wish I was living on the lake year around - the solitude was great and the weather was excellent.  The water in the mornings and early evenings is like glass.

I enjoyed paddling my kayak on this lake - it was totally awesome and with some good fishing as well.  The lake is about 16km long and strangely about 20km wide.  There aren't a lot of boats on it as its the kind of lake that is set back from the road going down old logging roads and well into the bush.

I've often considered staying in the area once I retire.  I have no personal friends where I live now so this wouldn't change if I moved up there.  I have lots of aquiantences but no friends.  Interesting enough I've been in this area in Norfolk for 11 years now and nothing has changed during those 11 years.

So - once things are where I want them - yes - I'm going to move.

Protesters

While there are protests going on all around the world, here is Canada protests are well organized by professional protest groups who pay people to lead protests and organize them.  They supply people with what to say, who they can and can not speak to and they also advise them what they can not read.

It is amazing as to how many protesters actually only believe what they are being told.  They have no idea of what the other side contains.  For example the latest in oil protests - protesters are were told that the oil pipe line in Ontario presently contains oil from the Alberta tar sands.  Wrong.  The pipe line in Ontario contains oil from Saudi Arabia and other Arab states.  Alberta oil hasn't even arrived in Ontario and won't for a while, but the protesters in Hamilton were told that this pipeline that has been here for about 40 years now contains Alberta oil.

Let's look at human rights in these Arab oil producing states.  The left or protesters are fine with human rights abuses in these Arab states but not fine with oil from Canada where human rights can be brought into court actions.  Not so in Arab states where if a woman gets raped, she is put on trial for the rape and not the men who raped her.  Many of these Arab states execute people who are gay.  But this is all fine and okay because Canadian oil is for some reason bad.

The protesters haven't a clue what they are actually protesting or why.  They have no idea of the situations going on in the OPEC nations - and yet Canadian oil is bad.

At least the conservative right wing people listen and know what they're talking about - so it seems.

Fox News North

I received an email proclaiming that Fox News North would not be on all networks or servers.  The group called the "sum of us" announced victory.

All I have understood from the group Sum of Us is that unless you speak the same as they do, your views are niether welcomed nor allowed to be heard.  This is freedom of speech?  This is freedom of thought?  This is freedom to choose who or what you wish to listen to or believe?

I am always amazed that the groups that are most vocal about freedom of speech and freedom of expression and so on, are also the ones that are so intollerant of opposing views that they demand silence.  For me that is not freedom but oppression by a group of people who are afraid of an opposing view.

It's too bad that these people demand one point of view and one point only.  So much for freedoms.
